Maria Neus Alos, the creative mind behind Technical Emotions, has designed Gravity, a swing-sofa that is as much a work of art as it is a piece of furniture. The design, which was inspired by gravity and the shapes found in nature, aims to create an intimate yet open space where users can enjoy nature and be gently rocked by the garden breeze.

What sets Gravity apart from other outdoor furniture is its unique design and functionality. It is a round sofa filled with colorful pillows, creating a playful and inviting atmosphere. The sofa can be suspended from its supporting structure or placed on the ground, offering versatility in its use. Whether you want to read a book, chat with friends, or simply relax, Gravity provides a cozy and comfortable space.

The production of Gravity involves the use of high-quality materials suitable for outdoor use. Its structure is made of powder-coated stainless steel in a champagne color, ensuring durability in outdoor environments. The cushions are made of outdoor foams and fabrics, protected with a polyester cover to make them water repellent, ensuring their longevity.

Gravity's design process began in June 2014 in Venice and concluded in March 2015 in Treviso. It was first exhibited at the Salone del Mobile Milano in April 2015. The design team worked closely with Roberti Rattan srl, which was instrumental in the successful realization of the project. The main creative challenge was to create a solid structure that appears light and floating, a feat that was successfully achieved.

Gravity's unique design and innovative approach to outdoor furniture have not gone unnoticed. In 2017, it was awarded Silver in the A' Furniture Design Award, a prestigious recognition given to designs that demonstrate outstanding expertise and innovation.
